# About Sell My Data To AI

URL: https://sellmydatatoai.net/about

Sell My Data To AI is an independent broker that helps companies license their data to vetted AI buyers, and helps AI teams source rights-cleared training data from vetted sellers.

## Key takeaways

- We are independent of the buyers we work with. We do not own an AI model and we do not buy data for our own use.
- We do not take custody of your raw data. Buyers see redacted samples under a mutual NDA, and full data moves only after you sign a license directly with the buyer.
- We are a broker, not a law firm. We tell you what buyers will check and help you prepare, but you should take independent legal advice before signing any license.

## Why we exist

AI models that do real work need records of real work: support tickets with their resolutions, case files with their outcomes, code with its history. That data sits inside ordinary companies, and most of them have never sold data before. Buyers, meanwhile, need evidence that what they license was collected, owned and cleaned properly.

The market is new, terms are rarely published, and headline payouts are far above what most deals close at. We built Sell My Data To AI to make both sides of that market safer: honest valuations for sellers, written vetting for both sides, and competing offers compared like for like.

## What we believe

- We are independent of the buyers we work with. We do not own an AI model and we do not buy data for our own use.
- We do not take custody of your raw data. Buyers see redacted samples under a mutual NDA, and full data moves only after you sign a license directly with the buyer.
- Published figures should be sourced. Every number on this site names where it came from.
- If your data is unlikely to sell, we will tell you in the first conversation.

## How we research

Our guides are built from buyers' own published terms, regulators' guidance and law firm analysis, checked at the date shown on each page. Read our [editorial policy](https://sellmydatatoai.net/editorial-policy).
