# Best ways to sell real estate data to AI companies

URL: https://sellmydatatoai.net/lists/best-ways-to-sell-real-estate-data
Updated: 2026-11-08

The best ways to sell real estate data to AI companies are a vetted broker such as Sell My Data To AI, or a license with Mercor, Handshake AI, micro1 or Endless Data. Buyers want in-house listing descriptions, pricing reasoning and maintenance tickets. Tenant screening reports stay out, because the FTC says they are consumer reports and the FCRA limits their use to permissible purposes.

## Key takeaways

- Mercor is best for brokerages on Gmail, Salesforce and cloud tools.
- Handshake AI is best for brokerages with documented sales and leasing processes.
- micro1 is best for larger brokerages with CRM records and support tickets.
- Sell My Data To AI wrote this list and ranks itself first. The method section explains the criteria.
- Every entry's facts come from the company's own published terms, checked November 2026.

Real estate brokerages and property managers hold records of how agents reason and handle cases: listing descriptions written by their own staff, pricing notes explaining comparables, maintenance tickets and transaction files. Buyers can already see public listings. See our [real estate data page](https://sellmydatatoai.net/sell-your-data/real-estate).

Mercor and Handshake AI both name real estate among their target industries, and micro1 asks for CRM records and support tickets, which describes most of a sales or property management file. No buyer publishes a real estate price range, and public data such as sold prices has little licensing value because buyers can collect it themselves.

Tenant screening reports are consumer reports usable only for FCRA permissible purposes, so they stay out. Freelance photographers own listing photos unless they assigned copyright in a signed writing under 17 U.S.C. section 204(a), and MLS rules can limit reuse of listing content. UK agents also cannot license data collected for anti-money laundering checks. Our [de-identification guide](https://sellmydatatoai.net/guides/de-identification-for-ai-training-data) covers seller, buyer and tenant correspondence.

## How we ranked them

## How we ranked this list

Sell My Data To AI wrote this list and ranks itself first. We are a broker with a commercial interest in the result, and some companies below offer a service similar to ours. Read the order with that in mind.

For real estate firms we gave extra weight to buyers that name real estate or CRM records in their published brief, and to terms that keep screening reports and identifiable client data out.

| Criterion | What we checked |
| --- | --- |
| Fit for the data type | Whether the company names this kind of record in its own published brief |
| Published terms | Whether payouts, size requirements and license terms appear on the company's own pages |
| Vetting | What checks the company says it runs on sellers, buyers or datasets before a sample changes hands |
| Exclusivity | Whether licenses are exclusive, non-exclusive or perpetual, and whether that is published |
| Fees | Whether the seller pays a fee or commission, and whether the rate is published |
| Payment timing | When sellers are paid, as stated by the company |
| Transparency | How much of the above you can confirm before a first call |

Every fact about another company comes from our profile of it in the [data buyers directory](https://sellmydatatoai.net/data-buyers), checked on that company's own pages in November 2026. Where a term is missing we write "Not published" rather than guess. After first place, the order reflects fit for a company selling or licensing its data, not a quality score, and we do not rate any company negatively.

We rank Sell My Data To AI first because this is our list and our service is built for this reader, not because we scored ourselves against the others. We are independent of the buyers we work with, and our terms are on our [fees](https://sellmydatatoai.net/fees) and [how we vet](https://sellmydatatoai.net/how-we-vet) pages so you can compare them line by line.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can property managers sell tenant data to AI companies?

Not as identifiable personal information. The FTC says tenant background check reports are consumer reports, and under 15 U.S.C. section 1681b(f) the FCRA bars using a consumer report for any purpose it does not permit. Other tenant data is limited by the privacy notice you gave. Maintenance tickets can be licensed once names, addresses and contact details are removed, after independent advice.

### Is sold price data worth anything to AI buyers?

Very little on its own. Sold prices and public listings are available to buyers already, so they carry little licensing value. What buyers cannot collect is your pricing reasoning: the comparables you chose, the adjustments you made and the list price advice you gave. Pricing notes with that reasoning are the part of the file buyers cannot get anywhere else.

### Who owns listing photos and floor plans?

The person who created them, unless they transferred the copyright. Under 17 U.S.C. section 201, copyright vests initially in the author, and an employer owns work an employee prepares within the scope of employment. A transfer from a freelance photographer is valid only in a signed writing under section 204(a), so leave freelance photos out or get written permission.
