How does TELUS Digital source AI training data?

TELUS Digital sources AI training data mainly through its own workforce rather than by buying company records. Its AI data solutions brochure cites more than 1 million AI community members, over 450 global locales, more than 500 annotation languages and dialects, and more than 100,000 domain experts. Data is gathered through its data collection app and labeled in its Ground Truth Studio tool.

In June 2025 TELUS Digital announced 13 off-the-shelf STEM datasets with more than 178,000 prompt and response pairs, curated by researchers, professors, graduate students and working professionals. They can be licensed individually or as a collection.

Who owns TELUS Digital?

TELUS owns 100% of TELUS Digital after buying the shares it did not already own for US$4.50 each, about US$539 million in total, on October 31, 2025. The company previously traded as TELUS International (Cda) Inc. on the NYSE and TSX.

Can your company sell data to TELUS Digital?

TELUS Digital has no public page for buying data from companies. It is more relevant to AI teams buying expert domain data or evaluation datasets than to sellers of company archives.
