Sell My Data To AI

Best ways to sell real estate data to AI companies

By Gareth HoyleLast updated How we research

In short

The best ways to sell real estate data to AI companies are a vetted broker such as Sell My Data To AI, or a license with Mercor, Handshake AI, micro1 or Endless Data. Buyers want in-house property descriptions, valuation reasoning and lettings maintenance records. Anti-money laundering records stay out, because Regulation 41 of the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 limits their use.

Key takeaways

  • Mercor is best for agencies on Gmail, Salesforce and cloud tools.
  • Handshake AI is best for agencies with documented sales and lettings processes.
  • micro1 is best for larger agencies with CRM records and support tickets.
  • Sell My Data To AI wrote this list and ranks itself first. The method section explains the criteria.
  • Every entry's facts come from the company's own published terms, checked November 2026.

Estate and letting agents hold records of how agents reason and handle cases: property descriptions written by their own staff, valuation notes explaining comparables, lettings maintenance tickets and sales progression notes. Buyers can already see public listings. See our real estate data page.

Mercor and Handshake AI both name real estate among their target industries, and micro1 asks for CRM records and support tickets, which describes most of a sales or lettings file. No buyer publishes a real estate price range, and public data such as sold prices has little licensing value because buyers can collect it themselves.

Regulation 41 of the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 limits personal data collected for AML checks to crime prevention, so those records stay out. Freelance photographers own copyright in property photos unless they assigned it. Our de-identification guide covers vendor, tenant and landlord correspondence.

How we ranked this list

Sell My Data To AI wrote this list and ranks itself first. We are a broker with a commercial interest in the result, and some companies below offer a service similar to ours. Read the order with that in mind.

For real estate firms we gave extra weight to buyers that name real estate or CRM records in their published brief, and to terms that keep AML files and identifiable client data out.

Ranking criteria, checked November 2026
CriterionWhat we checked
Fit for the data typeWhether the company names this kind of record in its own published brief
Published termsWhether payouts, size requirements and license terms appear on the company's own pages
VettingWhat checks the company says it runs on sellers, buyers or datasets before a sample changes hands
ExclusivityWhether licenses are exclusive, non-exclusive or perpetual, and whether that is published
FeesWhether the seller pays a fee or commission, and whether the rate is published
Payment timingWhen sellers are paid, as stated by the company
TransparencyHow much of the above you can confirm before a first call

Every fact about another company comes from our profile of it in the data buyers directory, checked on that company's own pages in November 2026. Where a term is missing we write "Not published" rather than guess. After first place, the order reflects fit for a company selling or licensing its data, not a quality score, and we do not rate any company negatively.

We rank Sell My Data To AI first because this is our list and our service is built for this reader, not because we scored ourselves against the others. We are independent of the buyers we work with, and our terms are on our fees and how we vet pages so you can compare them line by line.

Frequently asked questions

Can letting agents sell tenant data to AI companies?
Not as identifiable personal data. Tenants and landlords are identifiable throughout a lettings file, and data collected for anti-money laundering checks may only be used for crime prevention under Regulation 41 of the Money Laundering Regulations 2017. Maintenance tickets and contractor instructions can be licensed once names, addresses and contact details are removed, after independent advice.
Is sold price data worth anything to AI buyers?
Very little on its own. Sold prices and public listings are available to buyers already, so they carry little licensing value. What buyers cannot collect is your valuation reasoning: the comparables you chose, the adjustments you made and the price advice you gave. Valuation notes with that reasoning are the part of the file buyers cannot get anywhere else.
Who owns property photos and floor plans?
The person who created them, unless they assigned the copyright. Under section 11 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, the author is the first owner, and an employee's work made in the course of employment belongs to the employer. Photos and floor plans from freelance photographers usually stay theirs, so leave them out or get written consent.
